QVC
Assistant Apparel Designer
Currently, I am an assistant designer at QVC working on two private label brands including active, lounge, sleep, swim, and sportswear categories that total 8.5 million dollars in FOB volume. I support seasonal design development by initiating concept decks, sketching on average 60 skus per quarter, developing tech packs, and preparing presentation material for milestone meetings. I am responsible for sketching technical flats, creating tech packs, managing line boards and maintaining updates in Flex PLM system. I created and executed new product ideas such as Anybuddy dog shirt, Kendra Dandy collaboration, and zuda swim. I attend fit sessions and submit comments for proto samples, fabric development, trims submits, and lab dips. I maintain a pulse on seasonal trends by market shopping and presenting trends to total design team as well as seeking out industry workshops. I communicate and maintain professional relationships cross-functionally with technical design, sourcing, fabric, buying, print team, and overseas vendors.
